HISTORICAL BETRAYAL
Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar described what has happened as historical treason and stated:
Those who made this decision are cooperating with the Greek side. They’re trying to hand the Turks over to the EOKA fascists.

At the head of this organization is a man named Niyazi Kizilyurek, who is a member of parliament in the Greek AKEL Party of EOKA.
Frustrated with Erdogan, they recently traveled to the Greek side and met with Greek leader Nikos Anastasiadis, who insulted Turks at every turn.
In that meeting, they posed happily with Anastasiadis, who praised EOKA, which brutally slaughtered turks, and called us a pirate state.
Now they are disrespecting both the will of the Turkish Cypriots and the Turkish people by announcing that
we will not come to listen to Erdogan. Our people saw very clearly who they served on this occasion.

DREAM WESTERN THRACE MODEL
These structures, which have surrendered unconditionally to the Greek administration and want our nation to surrender, are fighting for the Turkish Cypriots to become a minority in Cyprus, just as they were in Western Thrace.
They are willing to make any concessions on the whim of the Federation.
The water that is currently flowing in Northern Cyprus is the work of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
My people are loyal, and they are not ungrateful of good deeds, nor do they forget those who do.
President Tatar said the main discomfort with Erdogan’s speech was Turkey’s insistence on a two-state solution model, and that it was not possible to abandon it.
