    Foreign diplomatic contacts with Tatars have intensified

    The April five-day meeting and the forthcoming developments in the Cyprus issue pushed the foreign diplomats, who are accredited in South Cyprus, to go to the TRNC for contacts with the Turkish Cypriot President.     On Tuesday, Ersin Tatar met with Australian High Commissioner to Nicosia Samuel Beaver. According to the Turkish Cypriot newspaper Gunes (source GTP), Ersin Tatar explained to his interlocutor the Turkish Cypriot side’s “vision” for the Cyprus issue on the basis of sovereign equality and stressed its importance in terms of sustainable stability and co-operation.
