There is nothing in his interview with Yeni Duzen that Anastasiades can justify “his own wrong policy”, says the former TRNC President, Mustafa Akinci, commenting on the written statement of Anastasiades, on Thursday, on the occasion of that interview.
In a post in the NCI yesterday, Mr. Akinci said it is no secret that he has a different perception in politics with those in power in Turkey “and those who have been appointed here with various interventions”.

These issues were also included in his interview, he added, with sufficient clarity. “However, nowhere in the conversation can Mr. Anastasiades find a single element that justifies his own wrong policy. And the reason is, as I have stated dozens of times, the fact that he was at the forefront of those who prevented the achievement of results in Cran Montana with his maximalist stance, not accepting the political equality of the Turkish Cypriots with all its elements”.

Due to my interview published in Yenidüzen newspaper a few days ago, allegations of the exoneration of his own politics by Mr. Anastasiades, the leader of the Greek administration, have been reported in the press.
