The former Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General Espen Barth Eide has arrived in Cyprus for a holiday.
Eide’s deputy in Norway said to Fileleftheros newspaper, Eide has told people he met, he said the visit was for vacation purposes only.
The newspaper added that during Eide’s visit, he meet up with his former friends and colleagues at the UN and also met with people from both communities.
