    Covid-19 warnings for Turkey

The U.S. Centers for Infectious Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) will assess the third dose of vaccines next week.

Meanwhile, US institutions have raised Covid-19 warnings for Turkey. The CDC upgraded Turkey to the fourth level, “Very High Risk”.

The US State Department also raised Turkey to level four, where it advised against “Do not travel”.

    4th DOSE DECISION IN TURKEY

In Turkey, new decisions were taken by the Ministry of Health on issues such as the number of doses of the Coronavirus vaccine and the age groups in which it was administered in order to effectively continue the fight against the epidemic.

In this context, coronavirus vaccination rights were defined for those over 15 years of age and those over 12 years of age with chronic diseases.

Health workers and those in the priority group were given a fourth dose of the vaccine.

In addition, due to the request of two doses of BioNTech vaccine by some countries on departures abroad, two doses of Sinovac and one dose of BioNTech were granted the right to a fourth dose of the vaccine.

Those who want to be vaccinated will be able to get a fourth dose of the vaccine.

On the other hand, people who tested positive for PCR could be vaccinated previously, 3 months after they survived the disease. With the new decision, this period was reduced to 1 month.
