    Blistering inland temperatures continue

    Hot weather continues following heat advisories in the last few days, with Wednesday highs around the capital reaching 39 degrees and humidity trending upwards along the eastern coast.

    No heat advisory as of Wednesday morning

    Wednesday skies will be mostly clear for the most part with very strong westerly winds expected in the afternoon. The sea will range between calm to relatively calm.

    Saturday temperatures are expected to rise, with weekend levels climbing above normal averages for this time of the year

    High temperatures are expected to reach 39 inland, 31 in the west, around 34 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 30 up in the mountains.

    Clear skies are also expected in the evening, while there is a chance of low clouds and thin fog accumulation later on. Minimum lows will drop to 24 degrees inland, south and east, around 22 in all other coastal regions, while it will be around 18 in the mountains.

    Temperatures for the rest of the week will remain the same, close to normal averages for this time of the year, with clear weather in the daytime. Low clouds and fog with possibly thin accumulation, are expected in the early mornings.

    Saturday temperatures are expected to rise with weekend levels climbing above normal averages for this time of the year.
