ATCA reiterated requests to grant Turkish Cypriots living abroad the right to vote

In a written statement made by ATCA,

THE RIGHT TO CHOICE AND ELECTRIC CYPRIOT TURKS LIVING ABROAD

We believe that it would be beneficial for the diaspora living abroad to participate in the elections in their own countries. It should be noted that many of us have military obligations; citizenship (identification number) is provided; and in the TRNC, many of them own property and pay their taxes. Therefore, we consider this issue as a human rights issue ”.
