As reported yesterday, a traffic accident happened around 5pm on the 8th October, where a 20-year-old deiver, traveling on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway towards Nicosia, exited the GSP junction. Under circumstances which are being conditions which are being investigated, the driver over took another car being driven by a 67-year-old.
The 67-year-old was taken to Nicosia General Hospital, where he underwent surgery and was kept in hospital. His state of health is regarded as extremely critical.
Nicosia Traffic police continue to investigate the incident
