Three senior police officers at the TRNC General Directorate of Police (PGM) were brought before the Lefkosa Court yesterday as part of the FETO investigation and were given a “temporary suspension” order.
Lefkosa Deputy Police Chief Vasfi Arkin, Chief Inspector Kerem Kadirogulleri, Chief Inspector of The General Directorate of Police, and Bekir Abatay, Deputy Police Chief of Guzelyurt, were indicted yesterday for “forgery of documents” as part of the FETO investigation.
For Vasfi Arkin, Kerem Kadirogulleri and Bekir Abatay, have been bailed by the court with 10,000 TL in cash and 100,000 TL of personal bail.
Three senior policemen have been provisionally suspended pending their trials.
