Three years after the revelations of the crimes of serial killer Nicos Metaxas, the process of attributing responsibility to the Police reaches an essential stage.

The Independent Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints Against the Police, decided that 15 members of the force were responsible for investigating the cases of missing women, who were finally murdered by the former National Guard officer who went by the online name Orestis. It is reminded that the victims were five women and two underage girls.

The process has begun and according to Phileleftheros information, at least 11 of the 15 people, who are being checked for insufficient investigation, have received disciplinary indictments.

Metaxas, has already confessed in writing to killing the five women and the two young girls over the period of 2016 to 2018 and showed police investigators where he had dumped the bodies at four different locations – an abandoned mine shaft in Mitsero, a dry well at the firing range in Orounta, Kokkini Limni (Red Lake) in Mitsero and Memi Lake in Xyliatou.
