    TRNC Committee on COVID announced its new decisions

    The Upper Committee on Infectious Diseases announced its new decisions. Accordingly, the testing requirement for vaccinated persons at the entrance to many venues was abolished, while the pcr test requirement sought by some industry employees was abolished and antigen testing was imposed.

    If the following rules are not followed by the Upper Committee of Infectious Diseases, criminal proceedings will be taken in accordance with Article 43 (6) of the Infectious Diseases Act 45/2018.

    1 B) RULES TO BE APPLIED ACCORDING TO COUNTRY COLORS

    DARK RED;

    Persons with a history of travel to these countries in the last 14 days are prohibited from entering the country.

    Trnc citizens will be able to enter the Country with a negative PCR test result and a quarantine requirement for 14 days in the last 72 hours and upon arrival on the island.

    People from dark red countries who will present a student certificate to be notified by the Ministry of National Education and Culture or register new students will be able to enter the country provided that they remain in quarantine for 14 days.

    Employees who already have a work permit (including their spouses and children) and request to come to our country will be able to enter the country provided that they remain in quarantine for 14 days.

    ISLAND IN-ISLAND BORDER CROSSING RULES

    Level 1 : No tests, no restrictions (0-74/100000 people in 14 days)

    Level 2 :7 negative Antigen or PCR test every 7 days (75-499/100000 people in 14 days)

    ADAPASS

    Adapass is the system that will electronically question the testing and vaccination status of the persons who will enter the enterprises determined by the Upper Committee of Infectious Diseases. The criteria determined by the Upper Committee of Infectious Diseases will be integrated into the relevant system. Before entering the designated venues/activities/sectors/activities, the persons will be questioned according to the adapass system. If the necessary vaccination certificate and PCR tests are sufficient for the places/activities/sectors according to the rules determined and installed in Adapass, entry approval is given.

    In order to question the people who will participate in the venue/sector/activity/activities, adapass has started the pilot application within the borders of Nicosia district and this application will be used in all districts as of 06.09.2021.

    After registeringadapass.gov.ct.tr/company/register, the application will be opened with the e-mail address of the enterprise and the password to be transmitted to them via SMS.

    It is mandatory to wear masks in all indoor and outdoor areas and to comply with the social distancing rule. One person will be taken to the closed areas every 3 m2 and one person per 2 m2 to the open areas.

    EDUCATION

    Students taken to school buses will be seated in the same seat every day on public transport.

    Mask

    All school employees (including transport staff) must wear masks.

    ART

    Theatre/concert/exhibition works/rehearsals of professional artists will be held with a maximum of one third of the halls full. People who work in these sectors are required to wear masks. Social distancing on the left, the mask rule will be observed.

    TRANSPORTATION

    EK-1 Rules to Follow in Swimming Pools in Open Areas

    Pool water chlorine level and pH should be ensured to comply with the levels specified in the “Regulation on The Health Principles to be Subjected to Swimming Pools”, measured periodically and recorded. It is recommended to chlorinate the pools at the highest possible value.

    Studies should be carried out to keep the chlorine level at an appropriate value during the hours of high temperature, when the chlorine level is likely to decrease.

    Those who have symptoms such as cough, runny nose and shortness of breath at the entrance to the pool area cannot use the pool.

    PROCESS OF THE DURATION

    1- The person is informed that the test is positive by calling the staff of the Ministry of Health
