It’s been over a year since Warner Bros rolled out the first trailer for The Batman, its latest take on the iconic comic book character. At DC FanDome this weekend, however, the studio finally revealed a new trailer.
As part of today’s (October 16) event, director Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz – aka Batman and Catwoman – unveiled a fresh look at the next Batman outing.
The moody clip gives us a closer look at the relationship between the Caped Crusader and Catwoman, as well as a fresh look at Paul Dano’s Riddler and an unrecognisable Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Plus, there’s plenty of action, of course.
Earlier in the week, the movie teased the trailer with a short video that references the Bat-Signal as Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader can be heard growling, “It’s not just a signal, it’s a warning.”
Then, the clip confirmed that the new footage would drop as part of the panel, and suggested that followers ‘like’ the tweet if they want to be notified about the film’s release date.
