Harry and Meghan sue paparazzi over ‘drone’ photos

Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are taking more legal action against the media. This time, the pair filed a lawsuit in California on Thursday (July 23) against unnamed paparazzi photographers for allegedly taking, quote,” illegal” photos of their one-year-old son, Archie. The couple also says drones and helicopters entered the privacy of the airspace above the couple’s residence. In a statement their attorney said “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are filing this lawsuit to protect their young son’s right to privacy in their homes without intrusion by photographers, and to uncover and stop those who seek to profit from these illegal actions.” In June, Meghan sought a court order to stop the publisher of the UK’s Mail on Sunday from disclosing the names of friends who could be witnesses in an ongoing legal dispute, citing their right to privacy. Meghan is suing Associated Newspapers over articles which published parts of a letter she’d sent to her father Thomas Markle. The family’s now living in Los Angeles after the couple quit their royal roles at the end of March..
