8 countries downgraded on the basis of risk with regard to COVID19

The updated categorization of countries on the basis of epidemiological risk with regard to COVID-19 disease has been announced by South Cyprus Ministry of Health.

The following changes take effect from Thursday, August 5, 2021:

1. Liechtenstein is classified from the Orange Category to the Green Category.
2. The following countries are classified from the Green Category to the Orange Category:

• Italy
• Lithuania

1. Luxembourg shall be classified from the Red Category to the Orange Category.

1. The following countries are classified from the Orange Category to the Red Category:

• Azerbaijan
• France
• Switzerland
• Japan
• United States of America

5.Iceland is classified from the Green Category to the Red Category.
