Orange alert for high temperatures all over Cyprus

An orange alert was issued for the second day in a row on Thursday with temperatures expected to rise to 41 C inland and 35 C in the mountains.

The Mediterranean island’s Meteorology Service also forecasts temperatures to rise to 33 C in the west and north coasts and 35 C in all other coastal areas.

Winds will be variable, south-westerly to northeasterly, light to moderate, over slight seas.
