"Sorry I live in your village without your permission" 15

Turkish Cypriot Mehtap Cardak posted a message to the original inhabitants of Akdogan (Lysi)

translated into English

“Dear friends, the village where we live is a Greek Cypriots village… It is called Lysi. Then it became Akdogan… In one night, they had to leave their houses, their beds, their gardens, their pictures on the wall, their workplaces, their places of worship and their stories… So everything was taken from the real owners, stolen, given to us without them being asked… What happened, can not be ignored, people’s pain can not be ignored…! The system based on looting can not ensure happiness on someone’s unhappiness… You cannot get anywhere by exploiting religion and flags with the discourse of nationalism… They performed a religious service after getting permission at the church in Lysi (which was previously used as a mosque), they are welcome, in your village, I apologize to you for living in your house without permission…”
